What is fair?

What if you worked really hard on a project a project for this class and you were very proud of the excellent grade you received on your project. Then another student took your picture, put their name on it and entered it into an art show. They won several awards and received a lot of attention from the community. How would you feel?

That is how artists, authors, and photographers feel about people copying their work and making it their own.

In this project we are going to explore the Copyright and Fair Use Guidelines. We create unique and original work in class daily. It is our responsibility to know our rights and make sure that we are not infringing on others.
